It’s that time of year again, the time when Toronto is gifted the beautiful pink blooms of the Sakura blossoms! This exciting sign of spring is a magical and fleeting moment each year that can last up to two weeks and fortunately there’s still a few days left! With so many places throughout the city to see these beauties I thought I’d share 5 Cherry Blossom spots in Toronto (with pros and cons) for you to find your favourites!

HIGH PARK

  • Free off-site parking
CONS:
  • Very popular and busy
  • 15 mins walk from parking

Trinity Bellwoods Park

  • Popular & Busy
  • Parking at a fee depending on time

York University Keele Campus:

PROS:
  • Less Busy
  • Natural path between two rows of trees

CONS:

  • Paid parking at meters

U of T Scarborough Campus:

PROS:
  • Less busy
  • Paved paths and benches between trees
CONS:
  • Paid Parking at meters
  • Younger trees

North E corner of Cherry St & Villiers St:

PROS:
  • Less Busy
  • Paved paths & benches between trees
  • Free street parking
CONS:
  • Noisy street traffic
  • Small cluster of trees

There are so many other fantastic locations throughout the city as well but these 5 Cherry Blossom Spots in Toronto (with pros and cons) are just a few of my favs!
