🇨🇦 Skyskate in Toronto, ON

“You miss 💯 of the shots you don’t take!”

Wayne Gretzky

Did you hear!? Skyskate in Toronto officially opened it’s doors for the 2021-2022 season just yesterday on December 1rst! (Well technically it’s after midnight now lol!)
A rooftop patio with a unique twist, this cozy space offers CN Tower views with a synthetic ice pad! It is the perfect space to enjoy with friends, family or that special date night someone! Synthetic ice is a great option for those who are lesser skilled like myself when it comes to the art of skating! It was actually the perfect amount of ice time and space for me! Even more convenient, Skyskate also has rental gear on site, so if you’d like to avoid carrying your gear or if you don’t own skates, not to worry Skyskate has you covered! After your skating fun, you can relax with a warm drink or cold bevie and food while you cozy by the toasty fire 🔥! A more intimate experience, in my opinion Skyskate is not designed to be a skating outing for avid skaters wanting to get out on the ice but more so a fun day or evening out with a cool and unique rooftop twist!

Facts:

➡️This Skyskate footage is actually from last season. For a brief moment between lockdowns there was a very small window of opportunity for businesses to open (I believe possibly only a few days) before an unexpected Covid lockdown kicked off again! Fortunately with life resuming as our new normal once again, Skyskate in Toronto is finally open after a very longly anticipated wait!

If you enjoy a good laugh you can see my attempt to skate here in my Instagram Reel about Skyskate in Toronto!:

Do you patios that showcase views of the CN Tower? In that case, watch for my upcoming blog “6 Toronto restaurants with CN Tower views”.
