The seasonal stay is fun for the whole family and after another long year of anticipation, L’Hotel de Glace in Valcartier, Québec is back for another winter! That’s right, Canada’s ICE HOTEL – L’Hôtel De Glace Opened TODAY for 2023!
Activities:
L’Hôtel De Glace is a unique stay unlike any other! Each winter it is rebuilt with brand new designs and ice carving artworks to enjoy! Over the years it has expanded into a full winter village full of shops and activities such as tubing, skating (inlcuded in your Ice Hotel Stay), snow rafting and more!
Phases:
Canada’s ICE HOTEL – L’Hôtel De Glace Opened TODAY for 2023, but it is built in phases. Today marks the opening of Phase 1. A notable omission in Phase 1 is the chapel which is set to open soon. The last phase is phase 6 and it will be completed on January 16th!
Rooms and Suites:
L’Hôtel De Glace has 30 Rooms and Suites with 9 room layouts to choose from. Prices range from $399 up to $849 for the honeymoon suite which has it’s own sauna and hot tub! Each overnight stay includes:
- A welcome cocktail served in an ice glass
- A room at the Hôtel Valcartier on the same night as your stay at the Hôtel de Glace (luggage, shower, etc.)
- 10% discount on services at the Aroma Spa
- 20% discount on your Hôtel Valcartier reservation the nights before and/or the nights after your overnight stay at the Hôtel de Glace

Included with your stay is access to the sauna, 3 hot tubs and the main hotel lodge for those needing some extra warmth! Although day passes are also available, you’ll find more frosty fun opportunities with an overnight stay! The annual Grand Slide is my favourite part and there is also a Chapel, Terasse, Ice Workshop and Ice Bar too!
