Today’s destination pic is from my visit to Hamilton, Ontario to one of the most breathtaking yet potentially dangerous selfie photo locations in 🇨🇦…Dundas peak!
Part of the Niagara Escarpment, one of the world’s unique natural wonders, Dundas Peak is a beautiful lookout spot that offers a stunning panoramic view of the Spencer Gorge. 
Peaceful surroundings, fresh air and healthy exercise, the hike to the peak is a fulfilling adventure suitable for a family outing or personal reflection time.
Encompassed in a nature lovers paradise one almost forgets the destined highlight of the adventure, but the unfolding view upon arrival is unforgettably mesmerizing with it’s vast beauty 😊! Fences along the trail and a half stone wall partition at the lookout are in place to keep visitors safe.

***Visitors should follow the rules, stay on the marked paths & trails, stay back from the escarpment edge & do not cross any fenced areas. The day I went it had JUST re-opened from dealing with a fatality when I arrived***

Tips:


➡️Go at sunset (west view 🌅 ❤️)
➡️Wear comfortable shoes👟 .
➡️Park at Tews Falls parking lot (Mon-Fri) & off season.
➡️Look for The Tew Falls overlook on the hike up!
➡️Stay on marked trails

Facts:


➡️Fatalities have happened off marked trails.
➡️110m high (higher than Big Ben & Lady Liberty🗽!)
➡️Social media increased visitors exponentially
