Yes… you heard right, your favourite childhood spot, Ontario Place is back! And this summer it is better than ever with some fantastic new attractions, suited for everyone! Fun includes a new inflatable water park, yoga in Trillium Park, Cinesphere movies, contemporary art installations, volleyball, concerts and more!
I wasn’t kidding when I said Ontario Place is back and better! Keep reading if you want to hear more about what’s to come this summer at Ontario Place.
Live Music
Ontario Place decided to partner with two (2) musical partners for the 2nd year, Toronto Undergraduate Jazz Festival (TUJF) and SING! The Toronto International Vocal Arts Festival. There will be a set schedule for these performances running from Thursdays-Sundays of when you can come to watch these talented groups. They will be running from July 7th- August 28th. The Ontario Place Summer Live Music Festival has included all sorts of diverse tastes of music from award-winning jazz musicians, Indigenous artists, Cappella groups, and even more!
What’s even better is that each performance has been partnered up with two (2) great organizations!
Thursdays and Sundays are arranged with TUJF, they are a non-profit organization that helps the youth and emerging musicians to find opportunities in Canada! Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons are arranged by SING! The Toronto International Vocal Arts Festival is dedicated to celebrating Canadian and International vocal artists. Saturday evenings will feature Indigenous artists put together by Elaine Bomberry and organized by TUJF.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, it does! The festivals will be taking place in Trillium Park and they are free to attend! So come on down, grab a seat and enjoy the show.
Even more fun activities
Everybody loves to hear the word FREE, so let’s talk about the FREE activities on for 2022! This summer you, your family, and your friends can enjoy yoga classes in Trillium Park, volleyball courts, Imagination Playground, outdoor art displays such as 1000 faces, a self-guided tour in partnership with ArtWorkxTo, and more!
In addition to all that, with their new attraction, Lake Shore Inflatable Waterpark. It is the largest, tallest, most exciting fun water experience!
