Have you heard the news? The LAVAZZA IncluCity Festival is back for it’s 3rd edition and this year they are hosting the festival in Toronto’s beautiful and historic Distillery District! You can enjoy this unique, outdoor event where the Historic Distillery District is transformed into an open-air cinema Village for ICFF!

Incredibly Organized!

The Lavazza IncluCity Film Festival was brilliantly organized! For instance, guests received an email with a site map, and step by step instructions of where to go on arrival. As a result check in was smooth and guests knew what to expect for their experience!

Vote for DrinkWater!

Jenz Journeys is proud to co-present the film “DrinkWater” honouring Canada 🇨🇦 at this year’s ICFF Canada’s Lavazza IncluCity Film Festival! “DrinkWater” tells the story of Mike Drinkwater and his jobless father, Hank, who makes money off insurance fraud schemes. But then Mike’s life changes forever when Wallace, an American girl, moves in next door. Deciding to help train Mike for an upcoming cross-country race provides Wallace with the perfect opportunity to learn about life in remote British Columbia. Through their shared experiences of felling like outsiders, Mike and Wallace discover what it really means to belong 🧡! Vote for this funny and heartwarming film here:

Swag!

The festival has a VIP red carpet bar where guest could try one of various drinks using the Italian alcoholic liqueur Campari. The Old Flame Brewing Company pop up offers swag bags and more samples of Campari. Swag and sample options also included a Vienna Lager by Old Flame Brewing, Baci Chocolates a very delicious Mexican Style Rio Mare Insalatissime Light Tuna Salad and more! I loved the glass coffee house that served martini espresso! It’s definitely a new favourite of mine!

Special Guests!

Before the movie premiere, we had the opportunity to hear the director Stephen Campanelli and actor Daniel Doheny and actress Louriza Tronco speak about the film! (Eric McCormack was also on site). Stephen Campanelli was so proud and passionate about his production is was a privilege to be in his presence! Next Daniel and Louriza shared a bit about their DrinkWater experience which was a wonderful intro to our movie night! Hear their talks via this YouTube link here:

The Movie Experience!

A beautiful way to spend our Canada Day evening, the weather was warm and we enjoyed one of the most beautiful sunsets that Toronto has had in some time! We also loved the inflatable couches, which looked great and were comfortable too! ICFF provides bluetooth headphones which create a near soundproof movie experience which immerses you into the movie under the stars! The romantic backdrop of the Historic Distillery District and stringed white lights completed this magical experience!

Final thoughts!

Inspired to visit ICFF?! I don’t blame you! And there’s still time to enjoy the fact that The Historic Distillery District is transformed into an open-air cinema village for ICFF!
