Today’s destination pic is from my visit to Leggett in Northern California 🇺🇸 to visit a bucket list must; the drive-thru Chandelier Tree in Drive-Thru Tree Park!
“Get lost in the trees every now and then…it’s good for the soul.”

Named for the unique chandelier appearance of its limbs, the Chandelier Tree is a 2400 yr old gentle giant, with branches the size of small trees, is truly a marvel of nature!
Despite owning a natural selfie phenomenon, Drive-Thru Tree Park is a tranquil place that reflects pride of ownership with its clean, beautifully kept trails & facilities and maintains a genuine & homey feel. (No mainstream money-grab circus vibe here that’s sadly found at most bucket list attractions these days).
Residing in the perfect setting for peaceful picnics, relaxing hikes & exploratory fun this majestic Coastal Redwood towers over its quiet home.
An experience unlike any other this unexpected find that marked the end of our breathtaking Hwy 1 journey remains a highlight of my global adventures! Regardless of your driving distance it is surely worth a visit!
